I was also on the Waterman Dec'59 to Jan'60. I was 11 at the time and after the initial pangs of home sickness and sea sickness I had a great time on board. It was like a great big holiday.

I also went to Woodside for about 6 - 8 weeks before going to Glenelg Hostel where we lived for about 18 months. We made many great friends including the families Schoo, Koneinenburg and Balk. I wonder where they all are today.

I am also looking for a ppassenger list of that trip but have not been able to find one. I'll keep looking!

I also ended up going to St Leonards Primary School 1960 to 63.
