Sinking of immigrant ship 'Driver'

Sinking of immigrant ship 'Driver'

I am reading an old book which refers to the loss of the immigrant ship 'Driver'. 600 passengers and the entire crew died. I can't find anything on Google about this disaster.

This would have been in the mid-nineteenth century and the ship sailed out of Liverpool to the US. I see one passenger list for this ship on Ancestry's NY Passengers database.

Does anyone know anything about this--or can Google better than I can?

Dug a bit more and found some newspaper articles on Genealogy Bank. The ship 'Driver' sailed from Liverpool on February 12, 1856. It was a winter with many icebergs and a terrible blizzard along the entire East Coast. Many vessels were lost, including the 'Driver' with about 375 on board, young immigrants and the crew.

I would be interested in anything further on this disaster.
