My nana's father and his family were on the Fritz Reuter that sailed from Hamburg on 6th June 1877 and arrived in Rockhampton, Queensland in October the same year. My query is with the passenger list terminology and what it means in German.

Her fathers family were listed as landman, and then it looks like "cofs" or cofr or something like that. Does anyone know what that stands for? I know landman means farmer, or land manager.
