Hi, my great grandfather traveled from Amsterdam to Port Adelaide in 1892. I obtained this information from his naturalization application held by the Aus National archive. A recent enquiry to the South Aus library indicates that the passenger list has not survived. I am also fairly sure that his surname has been changed from it's original Dutch spelling - the modern version is Retell. Can anyone give me any tips as to possible lines of enquiry?
