My father(at the tender age of nine) was one of the many child evacuees on this ship, which left England right after the sinking of the City of Benares reported on 23 September 1940. I'm looking for others who were on the ship or whose relatives may have some history or knowledge of experiences on this ship - looking for any memories. Also, I'm interested in tracking down the Samaria ship logs. Anyone have any idea how I can go about that? Thanks so much.
