Is there any lists that would have information concerning the ships that docked Immediately before and immediately after the blizzard of 1888. Some were kept from docking for some two or three days. Others docked at other ports. I am trying to find immigration records from ships eventually docking from Ireland. There must have been chaos in NY during that time, and I have been unable to find a record for my Grandfather who would have been one of those affected. The blizzard was in March between March 10th and March 15.
