I'm hoping to find record of a young man known as Leaven or Levan or Levin. He was traveling with Edward Fenerty from Liverpool to America when he slipped off the board and was crushed by the ship. This tragic event would have occurred between the years of 1871-1873. Levan was 17 years old at the time. His friend, Edward, was 20.

If this happened in port it would have been bound to be recorded so the only way to make progress is to say which port it happened in. Then someone might have a suggestion as to further research.

Thank you for your response. Sadly, I have been unable to locate the port of entry for Edward Fenerty and his friend, Levan. I've spent many, many hours pouring over passenger lists within the date range during which they traveled. My search will not end until I find that information.
