Have not found Sarah's ship papers. Coine was probably Cohen or Cohn. I have also seen the Cohen ship papers.
The census states her fam was born in Germany; know from my relatives that Sarah spoke Yiddish, census states that Mr Newman spoke Yiddish only.
Found out from my mom that 1/2 the kids went on to practice the faith while others changed to the Christian faith. Yes, the 1900 and 1910 census are the same. Essie is Esther, Belle is Isabelle, Rose is my great grandmother, my moms side.
I am visiting a G society this week.
