Mother's maiden name is Yauck, other side Bechtold, families came from Kraft Russia, settled in Panhandle of Texas.

My great aunt was Amalia Loose, who married Gritzfeld in Kraft Russia on December 11, 1911. They, along with my grandfather and family, then left Kraft, going to Hamburg, Germany, and then through Ellis Island.

I am researching the family of Schlotthauer from the village of Kraft. They show up in the 1834,1850,1857 Census. I am looking for Jake Schlotthauer Born 1881,to connect to the rest of the family I have.

I had an uncle (by marriage) Fred Schlotthauer that was born in 1901 in Kraft, Russia. He died in Scottsbluff, Ne in 1968. Does he fit into your family tree?

Supposedly my grandmother, Maria Catherine Temple was born in Kraft, Russia in 1878, but I can find nothing about her. She married George John Yekel of Miller, Russia and came to the US in 1910. If anyone could can connect to these names please let me know. Thanks.
