I am trying to trace my family ancestors and know that some of them left Northern Ireland - the Kilkeel area of County Down, and landed in St Johns, Newfoundland.
I think this was around the time of the famine.

I have not been able to find the name "McCaver" on anything so far, but if anyone can give me some pointers or advice, I'd appreciate it. They belonged to the Presbyterian Church. That is about all I know.
