Hi Elizabeth, well that's a surprise because I wasn't even aware of Edward Gooch! The only siblings I had for Charlotte were Thomas, George & William!

Yes Charlotte married James Moy in Rockhampton in 1867. At the time they lived at Morinish (about 56kms from Rocky)

I know their first 3 kids (Margaret b1868, Thomas b1870 & James b1872) were born in Queensland but not certain where. Their 4th child Eliza was born in Ravenswood (near Charters Towers) in 1874 and 2 more kids William (b1875)& George (born & died 1877) also born in Queensland. They then moved to Raymond Terrace because son Edward was born there in 1882, followed by another George in 1884, John (my great grandfather) in 1886, Alphinsis in 1888 then finally Gertrude in 1891.

Do you have much information on the Gooch family? I know Thomas was born 1821 in Hailsham, Sussex, he was a policeman and died at "Hailsham Cottage" St Lawrence, Queensland in 1889. I only know Eliza's father was Richard Titley
