In tracing my heritage, I cannot get past Dora Fuchs on one side. She immigrated in 1872 from Germany (lived in Celle) and lived in Chatauqua County in New York after arriving in the U.S. I believe she was a very young (4 years old?) when she arrived. I cannot find any ships records that show her as a passenger, but the census records clearly indicate that she was born in Germany and immigrated to the U.S. in 1872. I am trying to find out who her parents were and whether they traveled with her to the U.S.
