I have found my GGGrandfathers US Dept. of Labor, Imm. &Nat. Service card. I have a small understanding problem. I have attached a copy of the record itself. My problem is: the answer to the question 'date and port of arrival in US' the answer is St. John New Brunswick, Canada and then Aug. 1855. Did he come into Canada in 1855 or did he come in to the US in 1855?
