Wayne, I have been doing some research on the Ryan family who migrated to New Brunswick Canada in the early 1800's. I had gotten quite a bit of info from St. Michaels Museum mmuseum@nbnet.nb.ca
Joseph Ryan married Catherine McInness
Children- Thomas b-1821
Andrew b-1826 (my great grandfather)
John b-1828
Ann b-1831
All were born in canada
Andrew Ryan married Mary O'donnell( b-1833) in 1855
Children- James b-approx 1857
Ellen b-1858
John F b-approx 1862
Mary b-1865
Andrew J b-1868
William A b-1872
Gertrude K b-1875 ( my grandmother)
Andrew and Mary migrated to Oshkosh WI in 1882 with 5 of their children. I think James and John stayed in Canada.
