I do have in my database that Jacques Chaloux (Challeau) was married to Marie Marguerite Larue-Desplaines. I don't have a reference listed. I have marriage date of March 31, 1761, date of birth for Jacques as Feb 20, 1736/37; and place of marriage of St-Ours, Richelieu, QC, Canada. I'm not sure if this is enough confirmation for you or not. I'd have to do some more looking to figure out where the data came from. A lot of the Canadian data has been from other people's databases. My main original research has been in putting together the details about the older history in France.
