Shirley,
I have no connection with you but I looked up the passenger lists to see if I could find the ship or ships that the Simpsons were on when they went out to Australia.

Ship : HERMINIUS
Date : Departed London 3 Sept 1926 for Australia.
On board : John Simpson aged 40
Alison 18 Domestic
John 14 Child
Euphemia 9 Child
Isabella 8 Child.
They were all coming from 33 Hunter St, Lochgelly, Fife.
-----------------------------------------------------------
Ship : BELTANA
Date : Departed London 24 Jun 1925 for Australia.
On board : Thomas Simpson miner, aged 20.
Coming from: 33 Hunter St, Lochgelly, Fife.
-----------------------------------------------------------
I have seen the original ships passenger list but I have just attached a print-out of the HERMINIUS journey.
...I couldn't find Agnes Miller Simpson on any ship, but I may just simply have overlooked her. ...She didn't get married before she went out, did she?

Did you already have the above information? Is it in any way interesting to you? Is it your family?
Brian, Glasgow
