Re: Patrick Halloran/Hallinan from Co Clare to NSW Australia c.1855-65
Hi, I have Patrick arriving with his 3 kids after his wife (Maude) died, I think he travelled with his sister and her family? Kids names were Patrick Jnr, Catherin and Bridget. Patrick Jnr was my g grandfather. Unfortunately these are all very common Irish names! Does it sound like a match?? I'll send you an invite to view my tree, Thanks Emma

Hi Donna, well that makes us distant cousins or something as my g grandfather Frank Elba Halloran was Doris's brother. My grandmother was Margaret Mary Halloran (known as Marie usually). Didnt Doris marry a McCosker? I'd love to share any info you may have. I'll send an invite so you can view my tree. Thanks for contacting me! Emma

Good to meet you Emma. I will collaborate with mum and Elsie's daughter Jill and see what we can get to you. Doris did marry Jack (John Francis)McCosker and spent all her married life at Cherry Tree Hill. I believe she was born on a property called Bendingle near Buckulla, between Ashford and Inverell. Elsie married Jack's brother Cecil who was known as Mick and spent her Married Life also at Cherry Tree Hill.

HI My mum, Leigh Terese (4th child of Len Croft and Marie Halloran, Marie being being Margaret Mary, child of Frank Elba Halloran and Mary Ann O'Brien), remembers Cherry Tree Hill well and often talks of it. She grew up on a property called Kelanoa at Graman but now lives in Sydney. Look forward to hearing from you Emma
