My ancestress Margaret Ryan aged 16 and her brother Simon aged 9 arrived on the Roslyn Castle from Cork on 26th February 1836. I know this from their gaol admission sheets later in life (young margaret married a convict patrick lahy 14 November 1836 and I beleive he led them both astray). They must have been free passangers, I cannot find a record for either of their parents James & Catherine being convicts and they were not convicts themselves. Does anyone know of where I can find more information about them?
