I had a g. g. grandfather die there in 1893. There is a modern day version of the hospital (Mendota Mental Health or something like that), and I just emailed them today, but not sure they would have the records that far back. Were hospital records kept anyplace else? The hospital is located in Mendota, Dane Cty, WI. Has anyone ever had any luck finding old hospital records like that?
