Whatever happened to your grandfather you will not be able to get his medical records. It is a generally well-known fact that hospital records are closed for 100 years. The records are probably somewhere and you might possibly be able to find that he was admitted and/or discharged/died but you will not be given any medical detail so unless that is all you want it is a bit of a waste of time contacting anyone. This rule is applied to protect any possible relatives who might not want intimate details of a family member made public.
