Hello amateurheralds,
Recently I bought a ceramic (faience) flask with on one side the date 1767 and the letters M.B.F. and on the other side a coat of arms consisting of a shield divided in four parts.
The top left part carries a sinuous white wave on a blue field. The top right part carries a black eagle, wings spread, facing right. The lower left part carries the eagle agian while the lower right part carries the white wave again.
Despite some intensive searching on the Net I do not know where this coat of arms comes from or whom it belongs to. Could anyone help me solving this mystery? I would be very grateful.
cheers,
Stefan
