I have to assume that your assumption is correct. I also believe that Papworth's Ordinary of Arms was also based on Burke's GA which, though it is not an irrefutable source of information by any means, it is the best that we have to hand and will ever have, unless someone takes the time to go through each Burke entry to ensure its correctness, then apply any corrections to all the works that have Burke's GA as their foundation. There is a companion book to Burke's GA which lists a myriad of corrections to the original work - it is titled, "General Armory Two" and one of its editor/authors is one of the two AAH Patrons, Cecil Humpherey-Smith FSA [see
http://freepages.misc.rootsweb.com/~amateurheralds/hsmithbio... ]. Even with 'GA Two' to hand, you will still find some errors in Burke's GA.
