You appear to be grasping at every straw that goes by - what is your real name - the surname that you were registered with at birth?
I ask, because any genealogical proofs will have to start with that and you really need to trace back on the Paternal side of things - the maternal side doesn't count for anything in Scottish/Irish/British armory unless the maternal side was an Heraldic Heiress of a Clan Chieftain.
If that were the case I'm sure that it wouldn't be hidden in the depths of some record archive - it would be up on your wall already with the attendant genealogical proofs. So, don't hold your breath on this one ..............
