Beware the top snippet as it comes from a pretty old version of Boutell's Heraldry. Scott-Giles was appointed Fitzallen Pursuivant in 1957 (he died in 1982). The latest version of Boutell's Heraldry is the last one revised and edited by the late J. P. Brooke-Little in 1983, with several different editions in between.
