Maybe that is because there is NO such thing as a Family Crest... Coats of Arms and Crests were issued to individuals typically for some service rendered to the crown... thus they do not belong to everyone with that name ... only the heirs of the person who was give the crest or arms.

However .... are your ZALAR the Slovenian or Croatian ZALARs?
