Following on from my earlier post, I have now looked in Volume 2 of the Scottish Ordinary. There is one entry in 1971 for Ft Lt Robert Arthur Morgan Burr (RAF I presume) viz;

Or on a hurt between in chief two cogwheels and in base a garb Gules an eagle volant recursant descending in bend sinister wings expanded Argent.
