Re: Australian experiences...
We are all related (except for Darlene's Palliers, still can't connect them to our family but there is a good possiblility there). Your ancestor Frederick Palliaer decided to try a variation on the Pallier surname. Frederick's son, Henry John, and wife, Emily Ada nee Field, immigrated to Adelaide Australia in 1928.
Frederick had another son named Frederick George William and three daughters, Constance Blanche, Janet Mary and Lillie Mabel. As far as I know they have all stayed in England. I am a descendant of Frederick's brother Edmund (sometimes called Edward).
I know Victor was born in 1925 in Pancras London but do not know who he married.

Re: Australian experiences...
Hi Deb,
The names of Victor's parents are Henry John Palliaer and Emily Ada Field married Feb 14, 1890 St. Pancras Registry Office London.
Henry's parents were Frederick William Palliaer and Lillian Oxley married JuneQ 1882 Kensington London.
Frederick's parents were George Palli(a)er and Mary Ann Hammond married May 11, 1851 St. John's Church Paddington London.
George's mother was Jane Pallier. She signed a sworn statement stating the father was a George Miller of Oxford England. Mary Ann Hammond's father was supposedly a George Hammond and mother possibly Elizabeth Cowley.
If you ever come across any photos of any of the above, could you let me know? I would love to see them!
Regards, Caliope

Re: Australian experiences...
How could someone who married in 1882 have a son who married in 1890?

Re: Australian experiences...
You're right. Not sure where that year came from.
Henry John Palliaer married Emily Ada Field Feb 14, 1910. All other dates are correct.
