"Looking for Michael Goeppel in Milwaukee WI. Married a Wilhelmena Granz in 1885. First child Maxmillian born 1/4/1886. Moved to Cook County Illinois as remaining sibling were born there ..."
What records are you hoping to find for the limited time period they were in Wisconsin? Marriages are the best documented of the vital records, but the Mormons only have what the state collected, and that is not necessarily all of what was recorded at the local level. If it's a marriage you're looking for, post a look-up request in the Milwaukee Co. Register of Deeds marriages found in library collections up through about 1911/1912.
There are just a few Goeppel / Goepel entries found in "Milwaukee's German Newspapers; an index of death notices and related items" (1844-1950). Most of these pertain to the Frank Richard and Emma Goeppel family.
