Found some of my records. I am wondering if someone could verify some of the information which I have found.
We know that Richard H. Campbell, son of Abraham and Winnie (Sevier) Campbell married in Hawkins Co., Tn. Martha Ann Parrott. We have listed for the parents of Martha Ann Parrott as John Thomas Parrott and Elizabeth Thorp. Now suposedly Elizabeth's father was a John. As for time frame, Richard Henry Campbell was married on Sept. 21, 1848.
Does anyone have information on this Thorp - Tharp family in Hawkins Co., Tn.
I have found a Louis Thorp in Rogersville, Tn. He was active in the Baptist Church there. Is there a connection?

Did you ever find an answer. I have a Barsheba Thorp in my lineage, she was born 1813 in Hawkins Co and I found two male Thorp's in the County in 1810 then they disappear. I know Barsheba sound like an outrageous name but it is actually biblical, like Elizabeth, counld be coincidence.

Any furthe info you found might help.

I am also waiting on some books on Hawkins Co. this will hopefully help too.
