This may be just a coincidence, but I have a great-great grandmother who's name was Helena Kurcinka, whom was also from Dluha, Czechoslovakia. It was a small town, so its hard to believe there would be more than 1 person by this name there. She was probably born sometime between 1855 and 1870. She was married and had a couple of children (that we know of), one of which was my great-grandfather named Antony (Anton). I believe Helena's name would've changed to Kondreska (Kandrcka) after marrying Jan, her husband. So I'm trying to find out more information on my greatgrandfather Anton Kondreska (Kandrcka) from Dulha, Czechoslovakia, born approx. 1882. The only information I have on his past is a sister (Ilona) and his parents names (Helena Kurcinka and Jan Kondreska). Does any of this ring a bell? Your post struck my attention when I saw Dlha, and a possible remarriage. Or maybe there were 2 women by this name in that locatioN? Let me know what you think!
