Looking for anyone with Scotch-Irish ties that have Huntington's Disease in families. My Whitman family was in the Augusta, VA area in 1725-1830. Huntington's is in the Whitman family. The Whitman's are listed in several documents referring to Scotch-Irish. Is Whitman Scotch-Irish? Anyone having information please email me. I am trying to find out when and how HD entered into the Whitman line. I do not want to expose anyone that has HD in their families to the world.
