Surnames: Dunwoody, Dinwoodie, Dinwiddie, Rankin
I am trying to find out if there is a transcription of the Roll Call of the Clans by Scottish Parliament in 1590. This date would be during the Reformation, after the reign of Mary Queen of Scots and probably during the reign of James VI.

Family "name" documents I & my father have, state the names of Dunwoody or Dinwoodie are on this roll. I am not sure if it is the name itself or if the territory in which they lived was listed as a clan. That regional name might have been Annandale. Another surname that intermarried with Dunwoodys after the families emmigrated to the "colonies" around 1690 is Rankin.

Any information on whether this Roll Call of 1590 is in transcribed form of any sort (on WorldWideWeb or in a book) would be appreciated. I can be e-mailed at madhattr@lightspeed.net

Thank you,
Mary Ann Dunwoody
