I'm doing some research on my aunt's family for her, and I am wondering if anybody on this board can give me some feedback on the location and / or English transliteration of a town in SE Poland. (Actually, given the date of immigration for this person, the town would have at the time been located within the Kingdom of Galicia and Lodomeria, Austro-Hungarian Empire.)
I have two alternate renderings of the town name from primary documents.
Podgrabje: appears on US Declaration of Intention for citizenship (29 Aug 1924) and also on same person's Petition for Naturalization (19 Apr 1927).
Potgebia: appears on a World War II draft registration card (1942).
There are several other towns I have been able to identify for other people married into my aunt's line, and they are all located roughly in the region of Rzeszów, due east of Kraków. I imagine this one is in that general vicinity as well, but have had no luck finding it.
