Hi Mary,

I have just started putting my history together, a Christmas present for my family, and we may have a common thread. My brother found your posting. My grand father was John Possessky, his father, I believe was John Possesski, misspelled in the records. There are many misspelling of Possessky or maybe changes in the name over time. My grandfather John had a sisters named Olga, Stacia and Jenny. And a brother Carl who lived in Ringtown. Stacia had live in New York with her husband Paul Swater but moved back to Lost Creek PA in her later years. Jenny, last I knew, was still in that area and Olga I never really heard about. I use to spend summers with my grandfather and stacia was just down the road. This was in the early 80's and the time when I believe Stacia moved back to Lost Creek.

Im looking for information on Dessie M Miller, married Joseph Baierski about 1907. Found in 1910 Lewis TWP., Lycoming Co., Pa. census. 1920 in same location but states she is widowed. Nieces Malinda and Elsie Nevling listed with her as well.

OK....here it goes:

G-grandfather Miklos Laszlo from Nagyhodos Hungary came over in 1911 and was in Westmoreland County until he shows on the 1930 census in Armstrong County.

His wife:
G-grandmother Eszti Paladi from Feketeerdo Hungary came over with her sister ZsuZsa and mother Tilda in 1912 and also went to Westmoreland County.

I wish I could find info from Hungary to go further back on the tree!

I have information for a Maximillian Felerski. married to Pauline (Pelagia Pacek). Pauline was born Dec. 1896 in Rochester NY, d. 23Oct 1971 in Buffalo NY. I don't have any other info on Max, other than a few new articles from NY that mention him as an umpire for the Buffalo Bison baeball team. I don't have any information on marriage date and no know chidren from this marriage. Let me know if you are interested in other information on surnames Pacek or Szczupak as those are my families - evidently Max married a Pacek and that's all I have on him at the moment.

By any chance do you have any information on Marys brother Joseph Baierski? He married my Great Aunt Dessa (Dessie) Miller about 1907, they ran the Forest Hotel in Lewis TWP., Lycoming Co., Pa. He passed away 1n 1914. Esther Nittinger was working for them in 1910. I don't know when Dessie passed or where Joe and her are buried. Mary and Joe had a sister Katie who married Thomas Ross Laughner.
