I am researching the Rhinesmith line mostly in Perry County, PA. Have developed a fairly continuous line back to Johannes Reinsmitt, Reinshmidt etc, circa 1756 married Susannah Zimmerman, emigrated from "Germany". Would like to trace origins back to der Vaterland or wherever and correct spelling for Johannes. Any help greatly appreciated.
