I'm trying to find out more about the Kuta side of my family. My grandfather Frank Kuta came over to the USA from Poland back in 1945 when he was 9yrs old along with my great-grandfather Joseph Kuta his twin brother John Kuta. My great-grandmother stayed in Poland, her name was Elizabeth Ciezadle. She had another baby by another man in Poland. My great-grandfather Joseph died before I was born in a coal-mine. My great-grandfather's bother John brought my grandpa Frank up when that happen. If anyone has any infomation that will help me in finding anything on my grandfather's past I would greatly appriate it. My grandfather has past away afew years ago, and all records were destoried in Poland in World War 2.

Hello Natalie, I think I might be able to help you! Ironically your posting was sent to me by a cousin on my side of the family and ironically one of your cousins happened to be at my house at the time that I read your posting.

My husband's mother, Glenda (Krajewski) Baker, has a sister, Ellen (Krajewski) Kuta, Ellen is married to Francis Kuta. Francis is a decendent to the people you mentioned. Francis's son, Frank Kuta (my husband's cousin)was outside talking to my husband so I printed off your posting and handed it to him and he agrees that the Kuta's you mentioned are his grandparents. Frank says that his father, Francis remembers alot about the older generations and could probably help you. However, Francis isn't into genealogy, so when I find out the information (which is branch of my branch through marriage of course)I'll forward you what I find. Right now it looks like you and Frank are cousins. I don't get to see Frank's dad very often but we do spend alot of time with Frank and his family camping and fishing. Let me see what I can dig up for you.

My name is Michael Kuta. My father's name was Walter Kuta and his father's name was Stanley Kuta. I know that my father was born in Cracow, Poland in 1926. Stanley was born about 1983, I'm not sure where. I do know that he left his wife and first child in the old country about 1910 or so and went to Chicago for about 10 years where he was a musician. He then went back in the early 1920s, had two more children (my father being one of them) and then emigrated to Windsor, Ontario Canada. After reading several messages about the Kutas from Tarnow, I wonder if we are somehow related? Tarnow is very close to Cracow.

I know that we are related to the Skarbek and Marchewska families, but really know nothing else. My father has passed away and his only surviving sister can't remember. If you have any info I would appreciate it if you would please send it to me at barrakuta@hotmail.com. Thank you.

I'm curious about the Badura side. My Grandfather, Charles Badura had a brother Joseph who resided in Washburn, WI, in the 1930s. We lost touch over family disharmony. My father never spoke of the disconnect but I recall a visit to the area as a child in the 1960s.
I believe there are a number of unknown cousins out and about within the United States.
