Personally, I have not seen any connection from Nebraska to South Bend. You might try starting with the St. Stanislas Kostka records in Chicago. They are on microfilm and easy to find through the LDS and possibly through the Illinois Archives. Perhaps one of the Bonczynskis early on was baptized or married there and can be connected to one of the Nebraska Bonczynskis. Please do let us know if you make the connection! I do know there were some relatives of our Nebraska Poles in Lemont and Momence, IL.
