Hi, I looking for information on the Ammons surname and if it is connected to the Lumbee Tribe in N.C. or the Pee Dee Tribe in Marlboro County S.C. I know that it is found in the Coharie of N.C. My Ammons family lived in the Marlboro Co, S.C. and Robeson Co, N.C. in the late 1700's and early 1800's. Any information on this I would be very thankful. Thanks.
