I've heard many stories about my great great grandmother, a woman who I've been told was 100% Chippewa, which would make me a 16th Chippewa. I've always had an incredible interest in this part of my heritage but I've never been able to get a hold of any sort of documentation. Recently I've been doing a lot of research on my own about Ojibwe but I'd love some kind of conclusive information about my family specifically. I know it would be an incredible experience to spend some time surrounded by the culture that I am a part of but I find the difficulty in finding information somewhat frustrating. I'm not looking for a long lost family member, I'm just seeking to learn more about my heritage than the internet can offer. Fobear and Mueller are the only names I have to base my search.
