Looking for Ida MayFisher, Grand River Band, Michigan.......1863-1881 Mother called Minnie, also called Laughing waters..She was married to a Fisher, then married an Avery .......family also from Ottawa County, Grand Haven area, and Muskegon and Newago county...
Ida was born in Grand Haven in 1863. Married in Kalamzoo in 1881, to David Doremire, french/englishman. He was from White Cloud. Family moved north to Tower and Onaway area. Rest of family scattered about. Sibblings for Ida May Fisher/Avery are: Sam, Daisy, called Dixie, Lizzie or Libby, Mary, Minnie and Margarette..........any help would be nice. Also, some of the family members worked for the circus, Fisher/Robinson and Barnum and Bailey, along with other Fisher and Robinson and Avery Natives of Ojibewa lineage.

I have a George Robinson, married to Mary, who had three, perhaps more, children. They had a son named Frederick Clarence, born July 30, 1880, another son, Chauncey - date unknown, and a daughter Myrtle Robinson born about 1883. Myrtle married a Native American, named Enos Pego. Per Frederick's great-great grandson.

They were from the Grand Haven, Ottawa area, and the age of the children correlates with Ida's age. Perhaps these Robinson's were actually her parents, or, maybe she married into this family?

My Fathers name is Allen Fisher. I don't know where he is right not but I have been trying to find out more about him. He told me mom he was Chippewa ( ojibway ). If you happen to know soemthing please let me know. Thanks You .
