The tree that I have posted on this site is a work in progress, put together hastily. I have not yet double-checked most of the information on it, so it is very possible that I have made mistakes. I am new to this sort of research. But in the course of my searches here, I have found other members' trees that contain notes stating that this Elizabeth Everett was (at least part) Native American. Unfortunately they did not cite any source for that information. What I am hoping is that someone will tell me how they reached that conclusion, whether it was based on something more than family stories. I agree that that seems unlikely, but I still feel compelled to ask, since it is very possible that it is I, not they, who have overlooked something or made incorrect connections in my research.
