I am doing research on the Gambill Family. Alexander Gambill of Craighead AR. filed for citizenship to the Cherokee Nation. He is listed on the Guion Miller Rolls, also the Dawes Rolls. He was rejected, made an appeal and was rejected as far as I know again. Any help searching this families Cherokee Roots will be apprieciated. He claims his Cherokee anscestry thruogh his father,John H.Gambill B.1808 in Bedford Co. Tn. His grandfather was Aaron Gambill, b.1776 Washington, Co. TN. Aarons father was Bradley Gambill, b. in England
