Hi Cheryl, I know these are old posts but I hope you are still out there! I grew up with the stories of an Indian woman (always told she was chickasaw) on my Grandmothers,Mother's side. There was a tintype photo of her that even my Mother saw up to the 1960's when it vanished within the family. My G Grandmother Belle Cook O'Neil had either first account memories of this woman and her long black hair, or maybe just from the photo...hard to say now. If it was in person it would have been between 1878-1901 as she moved from Dahlonega to montana in 1900-01
