My great grandparents were L. M. "Maggie" Cowart & Patrick Littleton Meeks [lived mostly in northeastern GA. area]. My Cowarts married into the Chastain family, & I've seen prior information the Fishers were connected to both families as well. Maggie was burried in southwestern GA. [not far from FL. & AL. borders]. Maggie & Patrick spent time in NC. [Clay Co.,?] & GA. [Rabun Co., Habersham/Banks Co. area]. We know little about our Cowart ancestors. Do you have any information on these Cowarts: L. M. "Maggie" Cowart, William "Bill"' Cowart [who married Elizabeth Meeks], Taylor Cowart [who married Callie Meeks]? Any information at all is greatly appreciated.
