Hello and thank you for looking at my post.

I posted this on the Cherokee and Seminole board, I'm hoping to post it in a few of the boards which are directly related to my information in the hopes of having a better chance of finding some help on this.

My great grandma claimed she was 100% Seminole, but when she got older and her mind wandered, she said we were Cherokee. So now that whole side of my family is confused because none of us have been very successful finding information on our family tree.

I have a scan of a census report page from 1930 that has my GG and great grand father and their kids, my grandma, listed on the census as Doris P. Wilkinson.

I am trying to find out what Native Americans our family is a part of... Cherokee or Seminole?

Here is what I know from me to my great grandmother (who was Native American).

Sean Miller (me)
Richard T. Miller (my father)
Doris P. Miller (my grandma, Wilkinson)
Lawrence Wilkinson & Minnie Wilkinson (my Great grand parents)

I will tell you what I know about my GG, her name was Minnie Lewis and she was born in Florida, her mother (my GGG)apparently died giving birth to her. According to the census page, which was taken in 1930, she was 27 at the time, so that means she was born sometime around 1903 - ish. According to the census page, Minnie's mother was born in Alabama. I do not know her name.

Thank you for any help or advice you can offer. If you don't know anything about my family, maybe you can tell me what direction I should head in or what I should do next?
