I am very aware in the Italian naming tradition of when a child dies the next child of the same sex is given that dead
siblings name. In my line one of my great great Grandparents named a child at least two known children that both died Carmella. My question is, will this pattern continue endlessly or do the parents break the cycle eventually and if so when?
