My great grandparents on both sides of my family came from the Czech Republic (Bohemia) around 1900.

Adolph POLACEK & Otilia DUB, married in New York and eventually settled in Chicago where Adolph's many brothers and sisters lived.

Frank BEDNAR met Mary VESELY in 1905 in Chicago and married. Mary's brothers Charles & John had also immigrated. Frank & Mary moved to Stevensville, MI in 1930. We are unsure if any relatives came over with Frank. Family legend has it that he fell out with his family and never spoke of them (but we don't know when that happened). We also think that there is a connection to the GRAF family.

Albina Schultz
DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT

Off the top of my head...
The Mildred married to Edward Graf (Joseph's son), was the sister of one of my great aunts and Mildred is still living, as is her son, Richard.

Albina Schultz is Berta's husband's grandmother. Her daughter, Alvina, is still living. Berta will have to check this to make sure.

I believe Albina Schultz was actually Albina Schutz, my great grandmother. Her mother was Barbara Bedner. I know she had a brother (did not know his first name) but last name was Bedner. I know she married someone named Graf and was buried in a cemetery in IL. Albina Bedner married Josef Schutz and had 3 children, Joseph, Albina and Charles. Joseph had 2 children; one was my father Joseph. Albina and Charles had no children.
