To Save His Laundry
At Hastings, Neb., Charley NING, Chineses [sic] laundryman gave as his reason for purchasing war savings certificates that if Germany should win it would spoil the laundry business in this country. Ning bought $1,000 worth of certificates. He says he don’t want to vote, but will fight if the country needs him.
