Gday. I am following a family that emigrated to Little River,Australia from Egnaig on Marco Polo in 1851.

Ronald MacDonald b abt 1756 m Catherine Forbes

Their son John b 1795 m Margaret MacIsaac. They and a large family (I think including Donald - brother of Ronald) have been located several times in censuses at Acharacle and Glenuig etc.

Fr Ranald Rankin was their priest and organised a group emigration.

I have just now made the jump to Scotland and would like to follow any sources for the pre-emigration period.
