Hello, all!

I've updated the information on my Jenkins journey:

The earliest person I've gathered, Primus Jenkins (c. 1811). He was married to Dauphn (which should probably be Delphine), and produced one child (that we know of), Riley Jenkins. Riley Jenkins married Louisa McCants and had:
Emma, John Wesley, Thomas, Moses, Riley, Kelley, Ancrum, and Emma. There were others who deceased at childbirth.

I come from Kelley/Kelly Jenkins, who had:
Riley Jenkins, Evelyna, Eliza (Nicy), and Dan (listed elsewhere as Kelly Jenkins, Jr.). My grandmother was Eliza (Nicy).

My hypothesis is that Primus was from the Wadamalaw Island, of Charleston County - owned by Richard Jenkins. However, I AM NOT SURE. If I'm right, we're trying to figure out how and why did Primus travel from Charleston to Sumter and Clarendon Counties? We know that our early family members were in St. James and Manning, to name a few.

If you know something that may point me in the right direction, please assist. And if you can help me get beyond the Slave Schedules of 1850, that would be awesome! I'd like to know who Primus' parents were.
